CAMPTON - William (Bill) Harrison Hackett, 77, passed away unexpectedly at Speare Memorial Hospital, Thursday, April 16, 2020.
Bill was born on December 14, 1942 in Manchester, NH, the son of Arthur and Lillian (Mann) Hackett. He attended and graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1960. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, actively serving during the Persian Gulf War. Prior to retirement Bill was employed by Ray Marine Corp. for 13 years. He was an active member of the VFW Post 1670 and the American Legion.
Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sherry (Kean) Hackett of Campton, NH. He is also survived by his daughter Lori (Hackett) Rotonnelli and her husband Joseph Rotonnelli of Meredith and their daughter Caitlin Brooke Rotonnelli, his daughter Brooke Elizabeth Hackett of Concord and her sons Liam Harrison Boulanger and Jack Aime Boulanger.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be postponed and announced at a future date. For those who wish the family suggests memorial donations in Bill's name to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
