William W. Fredette

We are sad to announce the passing of William W. Fredette, age 86, in the early morning of November 1, 2022. His passing was peaceful, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Fredette, daughters Barbara Fredette and Karin Fredette Cote, and sons William and Robert Fredette.

William lived a full life of service and creativity. He served in the Marines as a young man, and as a SeaBee reservist and active service member until 1969. He worked for many years as an ironworker, and formed a steel erection company which built many structures throughout the greater Lawrence area, including the Little Haystack Radio Telescope. He is a graduate of Merrimack College, and Northeastern University, ultimately earning a Masters Degree in Psychology. William considered his greatest personal achievements his art. He created many beautiful pieces of furniture and many more oil paintings.

Funeral service will be held at NH State Veterans Cemetery in 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen NH, on Monday Nov. 7 at 11 am.
