William Henry Eddy

William Henry Eddy, Jr, 88, of Quimby Road, died December 29, 2013 at his home, after a long illness.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 2, 1925, he was the son of William Henry Sr. and Claire M. (Keefe) Eddy. He grew up in the Medford area and graduated from Medford High and Vocational School, class of 1943. William resided in Lynn, MA for thirty-eight years and was a summer resident of Meredith for many years. He has been permanent resident of Meredith since 1986.
William worked for thirty years as a Construction Foreman and Superintendent at Wexler Construction, in Massachusetts.
William was a member of the Carpenters Union since 1953 and a member of the Mount Carmel Masonic Lodge, A.F. & A. M., in Lynn, MA.
William was predeceased by his brother, Earl.
William is survived by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis B. (Taylor) Eddy of Meredith, daughters, Janet Valles of Topsfield, MA, Cheryl Panakio of Woodstock, NH, Marsha Marchio and her husband Alan of Malden, MA, grandchildren, Tracy, Katie, John, Anthony and his wife Kristina, Kelsey, great granddaughter, Abigail, son-in-law, Jay Panakio, sister-in-laws, Ester Eddy, Mary Taylor, Barbara McLeod and her husband Robert, many nieces and nephews.
A graveside committal service will be held in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Route #3, Boscawen, NH, on Friday, Jan. 3rd, at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meredith Visiting Nurses Association, 186 Waukewan St, Meredith, NH. 03253.
