Wayne Ezra Superchi

June 18, 1950 — September 10, 2016

Wayne E. Superchi, of West Campton, passed away suddenly at his home on September 10, 2016, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Wayne was born on June 18, 1950, in Campton. Son of the late Eugene M. And the late Irene (Downing) Superchi.

Wayne proudly served his country in the New Hampshire Army National Guard. He worked for many years for NH Department of Transportation, LE Johnston Construction and he retired from the Town of Waterville Valley.

Wayne was a member and secretary of the Plymouth Elks Lodge 2312 and a member of American Legion Post 83. When he was younger, Wayne was active in the Central Softball League, working the chain gang for the high school football team, and was a Boy Scout Leader. His hobbies included NASCAR racing, especially Dale Earnhardt, and bird watching, but above all Wayne enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Family time was very important to Wayne, he was especially proud of his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of 37 years to the love of his life, Susan E. (Gross) Superchi, loving father of Ericka L. Beaudet of North Haverhill, William A. Superchi and Emily of Thornton, Amanda J. Lucas and Don of Campton, Jessie J Gaudioso and Dave of Campton.
Devoted grandfather to Alexis, Camryn, Darcie, Taylor, Macneil, Devin, Katella, and Alethea.

Brother of Arnold Superchi and his wife Lana of Lisbon, Sandra Pritchard and her husband George of Thornton and Robert "Bo" Superchi and his wife Jan of Thornton. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

SERVICES: Family and friends will honor and remember Wayne's life by gathering for calling hours at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St. Plymouth, NH on Friday September 16th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Calling hours will conclude with a service by the Plymouth Elks Lodge at 5:00 PM and Military Honors at 5:15 PM in the funeral home.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 17th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Plymouth Elks Lodge, 1159 Route 175, Holderness, NH.
