Walter M. Conway

September 18, 1950 — May 15, 2021

Walter M. Conway passed away after a long fought illness on Saturday May 15, 2021 in Moultonborough, NH.

Wally was a graduate of Melrose High School as was his mother and all three of his sons. Wally lived most of his life in his hometown of Melrose before moving to Nashua, NH with his son.

Wally's whole world was his family; nothing meant more to him than the happiness of his beloved wife Maryellen of almost 50 years and his three boys. The bond and love that Maryellen and Wally shared was the love many dream about, she was his prom date, and first and forever love. Wally enjoyed talking about nothing more than the pride he had in his three boys, Scott, Justin & Chris. Seeing his three boys grow to become the accomplished, successful and caring people they are was his happiest accomplishment.

Wally loved spending time at Arcadia where he served as President for almost 20 years working to transform it to the amazing place it is today. Some of Wally's fondest and greatest memories are those of his time as a Red Raider from Melrose. Hockey, Baseball and Football were his pride and joy and favorite things to reminisce about.
Wally lost his loving wife Maryellen in 2017 and is survived by his three sons Scott, Christopher and Justin Conway. His Sister Sandra Cadigan of Reading, Sister Diane Stella of Florida, Brother Roger Conway and his wife Carolyn Conway of Mansfield, many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

No services will be held at this time per his wishes.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Center Harbor Firefighter Association, P.O. Box 222 Center Harbor NH, 03226 on which her two sons Chris & Justin Proudly serve.
