Virginia Irene Martell, 59, of Campton, NH., died on September 2, 2017, at her home, after a courageous two year battle with cancer.
Born in Laconia, NH., on October 21, 1957, she was the daughter of Robert Roswell and Evelyn Delia (Champagne) Simpson.
Virginia grew up in Northfield and graduated from Tilton-Northfield High School. She resided for most all her life in the Tilton-Northfield area. She has been a resident of Campton for the past seven years.
She worked in the Quality Control Department at Polyclad Laminates Inc., in Franklin, for many years. She also worked at the NH Veterans Home and at Tilton Family Practice, doing administrative work.
Virginia was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Pouliot and Diane Dargy.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Bruce W. Martell of Campton, her daughter, Leiah Reister of Campton, grandson, Caleb Osgood of Campton, her brother, Maurice Simpson of Pittsburg, NH., her sister, Carol Benjamin of Fruita, CO., several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, 16 Chestnut St., Tilton, on Monday at 11am. Burial will be held at a later date.
