Virginia Mary Griffin, 86, of Hawkins Pond Road, died suddenly on January 12, 2015, at her home.
Born in Manchester, NH on April 16, 1928, Virginia was the daughter of Walter P. and Jennie L. (Hughes) Robinson.
Virginia grew up in Manchester and graduated from Saint Joseph's High School, in Manchester. She resided, for many years, in the Manchester and Bedford area. She has been a resident of Center Harbor since the late 1980's.
Virginia worked in the insurance business as a rater for companies such as; Commercial Union, in Manchester, State Farm Insurance in Bedford and the NH Insurance Exchange in Concord.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 65 years, William J. Griffin of Center Harbor, NH, her daughters, Patricia E. Whitney and her husband Stacey of Bedford, NH, Karen E. Lawrence and her husband Philip of Boulton, MA, her son, Mark W. Griffin and his wife Kathleen of Lancaster, MA, her grandchildren, Christopher, Meredith, Alyssa, Nicholas, and Shannon, her brother, Walter P. Robinson and his wife Janet of Concord, NH, several nieces and nephews.
