Violet Sadie Wood, 87, of Pembroke, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on December 9, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Plymouth, NH, on October 2, 1924, she was the daughter of Frank L. and Stella M. (Smith) Avery.
She is predeceased by her husband Richard B. Wood, 2 children, and son-in-law, Alec Stewart
Violet is survived by her four loving daughters, Elen Stewart, Shirley Jimenez and husband Luis Jimenez, Patricia Greene and Lloyd Greene, Rita Sigman and husband Frankie Sigman; a sister, Rose Zimmer; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Violet?s memory to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Assoc., The Slusser Center 30 Pillsbury Street Concord, NH 03301.Visitation:A calling hour was held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth.Service:A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:00 am at Mayhew Funeral Home, Plymouth.Cemetery:Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Trinity Cemetery, Holderness.
