We celebrate the life of Vera Raggets (Racich), born and raised on a farm in Hopedale, OH. Married George in 1952 and moved to Wickliffe, OH, where she resided for over forty years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, and was active in RCIA. An employee of Huntington Bank, she retired as Branch Manager of the Willoughby Office.Her love of nature included birding, hiking the National Parks and collecting rocks. Volunteering at the Nature Center for MetroParks brought her much pleasure. Vera loved walking and keeping fit. As a member of Orchard Hills Country Club she enjoyed golf with her "second family". She took part in book clubs, bridge, and art classes. An avid reader of history and geography brought her to travelling the world.Vera moved to the mountains of NH and was a resident of the Golden Crest Wellness Center for the past four years. She recently moved to her daughter's home in Plymouth, NH.Her family includes parents Nicholas and Ida (Vrkjlan) Racich (both deceased), husband George (deceased), mother of Louise Natale (Joseph), Teri Booth (deceased) (David); Kathy Ringlein (Paul), and George Raggets (Patti).Joyful grandmother to Erica, Nick, George, Jack, Austin; sister to Mary Meyers (Ed), Katie Meyers (deceased), Ann Brozovich (deceased), and sister-in-law to Kitty Reichtell and Lois Raggets. Vera is an aunt to many nieces, nephews, and countless loving friends.
