Trey Colby Strong, 10, of Rumney, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2011. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life.
Trey was born on July 26, 2001 in Plymouth. He was in fifth grade at the Russell Elementary School, of Rumney. He enjoyed drawing, listening to Rascal Flatts, and working on racecars. He loved to tell stories that made everyone laugh. His big blue eyes and giant smile were known to light up any room. He will surely be missed by anyone that ever met him.
Trey is survived by his mother and step-father, Mandy Strong and Nick O?Haire of Rumney, and his father and step-mother, James Mutney and Felicia Gallager of Meredith; an older brother Trevor, a younger sister, Savanna, a step-sister, Tessa, and a step-brother Tyler; his maternal grandparents Rick and Diane Strong, his maternal great-grandmother Sarah Strong, his paternal grandmother Linda Brown, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and an uncountable number of friends.
He was a fighter and he fought until the end.Visitation:Calling hours will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth, on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6 pm through 8 pm.Service:A Funeral Service will be held at the Campton Congregational Church, Rte 175, Campton, on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Russell Petrie, pastor, will officiate.Cemetery:Interment will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Thornton following the service.
