Thomas Edwin Soper

MEREDITH---Thomas E. Soper, (60) passed away at home on February 1, 2018.
Tom was born on March 16, 1957 in Attleboro, MA the son of Harold and Barbara (Wilmarth) Soper.
Tom graduated from Attleboro High School and after high school he moved to Western, MA. Later he settled in Greenfield, MA, where he worked at Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance and also at the Greenfield Post Office.
Tom met Chery in 1978 and they were married in 1984. After marring Chery, they moved to Turners Falls MA and later moved to Montague, MA. Tom moved to NH in 1990, later joined by Chery in 1991, making their home in Meredith, NH. Tom worked for Hermit Lake builders for many years and at Steele Hill Resort.
Tom liked fishing and loved his New England Sports teams, especially his Patriots and Red Sox. He enjoyed watching the games with his close friends. Tom enjoyed a good debate and bantering on different topics with his buddies. He enjoyed tending to his garden, but his pride was growing his corn.
Tom is survived by his wife; Chery of Meredith, NH, two brothers; David Soper of Attleboro, MA and James Soper of Amherst, MA as well as three sister-in-laws, three brother- in-laws,and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held later at the convenience of the family.
