Theresa Marie Swift

Theresa Marie Swift, 70, of Coe Hill Road, died November 12, 2010, at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, after a courageous battle with cancer.     Born in Scranton, PA on April 15, 1940, she was the daughter of Victor and Adele [Klebauskas] Kazukynas.     She grew up in Poquonock, CT and graduated from Poquonock Elementary School and then attended Mercyhurst College, in Erie, PA.   She resided in Osterville, MA for many years, before moving to Center Harbor in 1976.     Terri worked at Plymouth State College, Plymouth NH, in the Telephone Communications Department for twenty-two years.  She also worked for several years as a caregiver of the Community Health and Hospice, in Laconia.     She was a communicant of Saint Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, Meredith. She also had taught Sunday school for over thirty years at Our Lady of Assumption, in Massachusetts and at St. Charles Borromeo Church.      Terri is survived by her husband John P. Swift of Center Harbor, five children, John P Swift II of Meredith, Elizabeth A. Wichland of Center Harbor, Margaret E. Judge of Barrington, Jennifer A. Swift of Ranch Cordova, CA, Andrew J. Swift of Greensboro, NC, five grandchildren, sister, Anne Schneider of Granby, CT, many nieces and nephews.Memorials:In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Meredith Emergency Food Pantry, 147 Main St., Meredith, NH 03253.Visitation:Calling hours will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, Routes #3 and #104, Meredith, on Sunday 1pm to 3pm.Service:A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, on Monday at 11am.  The Very Rev. Dennis J. Audet VF, pastor, will be the celebrant.Cemetery:Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
