Thalia Vesely Christiansen

Thalia Vesely Christiansen, 67, of Plymouth, passed away at her home on Monday, April 6, 2015 surrounded by her family and cats.
Thalia was born on November 21, 1947, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Frank and Muriel (McDonald) Vesely. Thalia was raised in Manchester, graduating from the Manchester High School. She furthered her education at Plymouth State University, earning a bachelor's degree. While in attendance at P.S.U., Thalia met the love of her life, and her future husband, Arthur.
Thalia's working career includes the Lamson Library, in Plymouth as a circulation assistant, many years helping her husband Arthur run the Saliba's Family Footwear Shoe Store, on Main St., in Plymouth, and a number of years as a beloved member of the Holderness Prep School community.
Thalia was an avid birder and she was an excellent cook! She will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife and loving mother who maintained strong ties with her family and in-laws.
She is predeceased by her father and beloved husband of more than 30 years, Arthur D. Christiansen, in 2002.
Thalia is survived by her children, Marty and Arne Christiansen; her mother, Muriel Sprague, of Manchester; and her two brothers, Wayne and Mark Vesely.
