Sylvia Ann LaBrie, 62, of Reading, VT, passed away June 22, 2017 at Mount Ascutney Hospital, in Windsor, VT., after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sylvia was born May 24th, 1955 in Laconia, NH and was the daughter of Evelyn (Parker) Parris and James Parris. She resided in Meredith for the early years, and moved to Vermont 21 years ago.
She worked for many years as a chambermaid, and as a nurse at Golden View Health Care Center, Meredith, and in private care in the Lakes Region area. While in Vermont, she worked as a helper at a diner.
She enjoyed Bingo, camping and fishing with family, and her many pets over the years.
Sylvia was predeceased by her father, James Steele Parris, her sister Tammy Parris and her husband George Marion.
She is survived by her mother Evelyn Parris and her husband Richard Greene, her sons Zachary LaBrie with wife Diane, and Chesley LaBrie with wife Dawn, 10 grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 at 11:00am at the Meredith Village Cemetery, Route 3, Meredith NH.
