Moultonborough--- Stephen M. Gibbons III, passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2016, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer.
Stephen was born on April 24, 1967 in Melrose, Massachusetts the son of Stephen M. Gibbons Jr. and Dianne (Fitzgerald) Gibbons. Stephen attended the Wakefield school district, graduating in 1985. After high school, he became an iron worker and was also employed with the Assetta construction company prior to opening his own construction company.
Stephen met his loving wife, Virginia in1995, raising three loving children. Stephen and his family moved to Moultonborough in 1999. Stephen started his own business around 2001.
He had many interests, but his most treasured hobby was his love to ride his motorcycle and when he was not riding he would be enjoying his Boston sports teams, especially his Patriots. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating on lake Winnipesaukee and especially spending time with his family.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Virginia, his three children; Laura Lynne, Jayme, and Xavier all of Moultonborough, N.H. His parents; Stephen M. gibbons Jr. And his wife Elaine of FL. His mother, Dianne Gibbons of Wakefield, MA. His brother; Frank and his wife, Katherine of Wakefield, MA, his sister; Janas and her husband, Rick Mercer of Wakefield, MA. His uncle Frank Fitzgerald and his wife Debbie of Gilmanton, N.H. Four nieces; Rachel, Meagan, Sandra, and Lauren. His cousins; Jimmy, Joe, and Jenn. Also of Gilmanton, N.H.
