Sandra Lee Crisp, 76, of Banjo Drive, Thornton, died suddenly at her home on March 28, 2016.
Born in Warwick, RI., she was the daughter of Leo F. Sr. and Blanche M. (Gendron) Jencks.
Sandy grew up in the Coventry, RI., and graduated from Coventry High School, class of 1958. She went on the graduate from Strayers Business College, in Baltimore, MD.
Sandy held various administrative secretarial positions through-out her life, including, Franklin Square Hospital, in Baltimore, MD.
Sandy was a volunteer and past board member of the Pemi Bridge House, in Plymouth, a volunteer at Speare Memorial Hosptial and several area nursing homes. She was a member of the NH Snowmobile Club and enjoyed swimming, hiking, snowshoeing and water aerobics. Sandra loved to spend time with her faithful companion, her dog Diamond.
Sandy was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Dean Crisp, who died in November of 1984 and a brother, Douglas W. Jencks, who died in 2002.
Sandy is survived by her brothers, Leo F. Jencks Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Winter Haven, FL., Gregory P. Jencks and his wife Cindy of Campton, NH., Rev. Jeffrey A. Jencks of Cumberland, RI., her step children,
Brett D. Crisp of Brendon, FL., Charles E. of Beach Island, SC., Evelyn A. "Sissy" Decker of Edgemere, MD.,
Edward R. Crisp of Fairfield, PA., 8 step Grandchildren, step 3 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
