Ruthven "Pop" F. Tibbetts Sr.

Center Harbor--- Ruthven “Pops” F. Tibbetts Sr., 68, of Bartlett Hill Road, died on Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home.
Pops was born on July 29, 1955, in Franklin, NH, the son of Donald Tibbetts Sr., and Bernadine (O’Dougherty) Tibbetts. He proudly served his country in the US Army.
Pops worked for many years at Avid Thermal Engineering in Laconia.
Pops enjoyed hunting and fishing. He could often be found playing pool, darts, cards, cribbage, or poker with friends. Above all, he cherished his time with family.
Pops is survived by his son, Ruthven “Rudy” Tibbetts Jr. and his wife, Lesle; grandchildren, Felicia, Isabelle, Craig, Caden, Joseph, and Timothy; his siblings, Donald Tibbetts Jr. and Doran Tibbetts; stepchildren, Wendy and Rodrick; and Randy Martinsen, who was like another son to Pops. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Aleta (Rudzynski) Tibbetts, his sister, Charlene Kelly, and his brother, Bernard “Bernie” Tibbetts.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be at a later date.
