Russell H Gould

May 28, 1967 — September 10, 2015

Russell H. Gould, 48, of Campton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 10, 2015.

He was born on May 28, 1967, in Forestville, MD, the son of Kenneth and Gay (Holford) Gould. The family re-located to New Hampshire and Russell was raised in Lincoln and Groton attending local schools.

Russell was a talented carpenter; he worked for many construction companies throughout his career, the longest with Construx Corp., before becoming a self employed sub-contractor.

Russell will be lovingly remembered by his family as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and son. He was a very giving person, always helping his friends and family, and was never shy to help out his neighbors and strangers; he devoted some time to the Pemi Valley Habitat for Humanity where he used his carpentering skills to enable those who are less fortunate to get affordable quality housing. As a great "conversationalist" Russell seemed to be able to talk to anyone about anything, make them laugh, and was always making friends wherever he went.

He is predeceased by his mother, Gay Gould, in 2012.

Russell is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Ida M. Gould, of Campton; his children, Cory R. Conant-Gould and his wife Nicole, of Rumney, Laura Sausville and her husband Phil, of Bristol, Zachary Gould, of Campton; three grandchildren, Noah, Cory, Jr., and Aiden; his father, Kenneth Gould, of Groton; his brother, Thomas Gould, of Laconia; several nieces and nephews.

Donations in Russell's memory may be made to Pemi Valley Habitat for Humanity, Inc., P.O. Box 238, Plymouth, NH 03264 or www.pemivalleyhabitat.org
