PLYMOUTH --- Russell Conway, (82) passed away at home, surrounded by family.
Russell was born in Plymouth, NH on December 13, 1935 the son of Andrew J. Conway and Rose Conway (Carter).
Russell attended schools in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High School. After serving his country in the United States Air Force, he was employed at Currier Plumbing and Heating, Fausty's Restaurant and Annie's Overflow Restaurant in Holderness. He was a Thirty-six year member of Plymouth Lodge of Elks #2312, earning Outstanding Elk of the Year among many other honors for service to the organization through the years.
In Russell's spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing darts, billiards and playing golf. He was also known for a quick wit and always found a way to make people around him laugh, even in his most difficult times.
Russell is survived by his 5 children and his sister, Patsy Neads and her husband, Ken. Russell was predeceased by his wife, Patricia; his parents; his son, Michael; and his three brothers, Andy, Dennis and Ronald.
Calling hours for Russell will be held on Friday September 28, 2018 from 5pm-7 pm at the Mayhew Funeral Home 12 Langdon Street Plymouth, NH 03264. Burial will be private.
