MEREDITH---Ronald E. Shaw Jr., (49) of Meredith, New Hampshire died in a logging accident on August 10, 2015 in Benton, New Hampshire.
Ron was born on December 16, 1965 in Laconia, New Hampshire the son of Ronald E. Shaw Sr. of Center Harbor, New Hampshire and Jane Armstrong of Tilton, New Hampshire. Ron was a native to the Lakes Region, graduating from Inter-Lakes High School in 1984. Ron started his lifelong passion of logging while in high school. After he graduated, working for Thomas Timber Products for over 10 year, before becoming self employed with his own logging business.
Ron is survived by his parents; step father Stan E. Graton; his significant other; Christina Labrie and two children; Jack and Alana Ames of Meredith, one sister; Rhonda Smith and her husband Eric of Durham, Maine, and many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his lifelong best friend; Kevin Bliss and good friends; Chris and Christina Savage, he was predeceased by his maternal grandmother; Lucille Armstrong and his aunt; Joyce Hyslop and Uncle Dwight Armstrong, paternal grandparents; Robert H. and Mary Shaw; and step mother Linda Taylor.
