ALEXANDRIA – Roger Eugene Young, Jr., 52, of Alexandria, NH passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Roger was born on April 21, 1973, in New London, New Hampshire to his loving parents, Nancy Anne Heinbaugh and Roger Eugene Young. In February of 2015, he married the love of his life, Christianna A. Malcolm.
Roger was a devoted and loving husband. He absolutely adored and loved his wife, Christy. He was also a loving son and dog dad to his furry friends. He was known to be a family man, a provider, a hard worker. He loved to keep his hands occupied, a career laborer and enjoyed getting to build things. He loved his loud music too and always had his quirky sense of humor about him.
Mr. Young is survived by his loving wife, Christy of Alexandria, her two children Susan of Bristol and Merrick of South Dakota, his mother Nancy Anne Costrello (Heinbaugh) of Alexandria, His mother and father in law, Linda and Frank Downes of Andover, his cousin Denise Elliot of Franklin, his close friend Beorne Lavoie of Bristol, and many loving extended family members and friends.
As per Roger and his family’s wishes, a celebration of life will take place at a later time. Arrangements are under the care of the Mayhew Funeral Homes.
