CENTER CONWAY -- Roger McIntosh “Pop Pop” of Center Conway, New Hampshire passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 92. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 11, 1933, to parents Robert Benjamin McIntosh and Mary Fuchela.
After serving in the Navy during the Korean War, Roger studied at the University of Minnesota (Mathematics) and University of Massachusetts (Masters in Mathematics). He had a successful career at General Electric where he worked to close system interfaces and resolve the appropriate specifications to align and close complex satellite systems. Roger was considered a giant in the national security community.
In 1956 he married Kathryn Louise Mork and had 5 children. Roger was a humble man full of compassion and had many hobbies including golf, skiing, wood working, and playing the banjo with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Kathryn; children, Kelly (Maggie), Colleen, Kari (Jim), Tracy (Dave), and Susan (José); grandchildren, Johnny, Scotty, Peter, Megan, Michael, Erika, Kathryn, Matthew, and Steven; and great grandkids, Jacey Raye, Tarynn, Isaiah, Ada, Freya, Colby, Roger Jr., Macy, Madelyn, and Elise. In addition to his parents, Roger was predeceased by his brother, Glenn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Meredith NH.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
