Roger Leon Breault

Roger Leon Breault, 77, of Rehoboth, passed away suddenly on December 25, 2021, at his daughter's home in Campton, NH.
Born on January 24, 1944, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, he was the son of Leonide and Lillian (Gendron) Breault of Rehoboth, Massachusetts. He was a lifelong resident of Rehoboth. He graduated from Dighton-Rehoboth High School and attended Franklin Institute. He married Carol Ann Menard on August 24, 1968.
Roger worked at Cumberland Engineering and Silko Automotive before owning and operating Breault's Auto Sales for 38 years. He also worked as a technical inspector for the Seekonk Speedway and was a founding member of the Rehoboth Business Association.
He was a member of the Rehoboth Eastern Star Lodge and served over 30 years on Rehoboth's Zoning Board of Appeals. He was also a Cub Scout of Rehoboth's first Pack.
He served in the Army National Guard for six years.
He enjoyed helping people, working in the garden, spending time with his grandsons and grand dogs, and riding his tractor. He admired the work of Benjamin Franklin who noted "When you're good to others, you're best to yourself."
Roger is survived by his wife of fifty-three years Carol Ann (Menard) Breault, his daughter Denise Hutchins, son-in-law Mark and grandsons Jack and Theo of Campton, NH., his sisters Jeanette Thibodeau of Dighton and Irene Burt of Rehoboth, and brother-in-law George Menard, Jr. of Attleboro.
Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Children's Boston.
