SEATTLE, WA --- Robert “Bob” Dwight Tremblay, 71, of Rumney, New Hampshire, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024
Bob was born on November 4, 1952, son of Joanne and Robert Tremblay. He is survived by two sons, a granddaughter and grandson.
Bob was born in Plymouth and raised in Rumney. He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as an F-106 Weapons Control Mechanic. Following his military service he pursued his education at the University of Delaware where he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. After graduating, he worked for several medical and materials companies developing chemical processes. Bob and Gail returned to NH in 1985, settling in Thornton. He taught at Plymouth Regional High School while earning a Master’s Degree in Education at Plymouth State College, later serving as Principal of Holderness Elementary School until his retirement.
Bob will be remembered for his unshakeable morals, work ethic, sense of humor, and no-quit mentality. He was passionate about helping his students and those close to him. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in the White Mountains skiing, cycling, and spending time with his family.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Thornton, NH.
