Robert Francis Strong

Robert Francis "Bob" Strong, 63, of Campton, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2015.
Born in Plymouth on August 13, 1951, he was the son of Riley and Sarah (Saulnier) Strong. Bob was raised in Campton and graduated from the Plymouth Regional High School.
He was a long-time employee of the SAU 48 School District, working as a custodian for seventeen years in the Plymouth Elementary School, and the last three years at the Holderness Central School, retiring from that position this past August. Bob has also worked for Riess Construction and Construx. His never ending work in firewood included 40 plus years with his brother Gary in addition to recently working with his son Kenneth.
Bob loved music, hunting, and spending time with his grandkids. He will be lovingly remembered by his family as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and a good friend to those who knew him.
He is predeceased by his father, Riley Strong.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of forty-two years, Sharon M. (McCormack) Strong, of Campton; son, Kenneth Strong and wife Michelle, of Campton; daughter, Jennifer Bastarache and husband Michael, of Bridgewater; four grandchildren, Riley and Emily Strong, both of Campton, and Evie and Aaron Bastarache, both of Bridgewater; mother, Sarah Strong, of Campton; brothers, Gary Strong and wife Donna, of Campton, Rick Strong and wife Diane, of Campton; sister, Cindy (Strong) Riess and husband Pat, of FL; one niece, several nephews, and many good friends throughout the greater Plymouth area.
