Robert H. Garrity, of Campton, NH, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Lafayette Center in Franconia, NH from declining health and dementia.
He was born on Dec. 21,1946 in Philadelphia, PA to Eugene and Doreen (Pollard) Garrity and grew up in Media, PA.
He attended Archmere Academy in PA and graduated from Boston College. Bob was a realtor for many years at Loon Mtn. and ran Creation Station pottery shop in Lincoln before retiring.
He was an avid hiker and hiked all of the 4,000-foot mountains in NH. He liked to swim and enjoy going to the Mad River to spend time by the water. In the winter he enjoyed downhill and cross-country skiing and in the summer, he spent many years on Newfound Lake at his cottage on Loon Island.
Bob is survived by his wife, Ellen (Weissbrod) of 45 years; his daughter, Carrie and her husband Koji Tsunoda; his son, Danny Garrity; his daughter Kelly and her husband Patrick Grardina; and three grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his parents and his brother Joe Garrity.
A memorial service will be held in the summer at the convenience of the family.
