Robert Franklin Ayers

Robert Franklin Ayers, 82, of NH Route 175, Holderness, died October 28, 2016, at the Concord Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Harrisburg, PA. on July 17, 1934, he was the son of Murray P. and Laura May (Black) Ayers.
Robert has been a resident of Holderness for most all his life.
Robert worked for over thirty years, for Loon Mountain Resort, in Lincoln, NH. in the Maintenance, Security and Grounds Departments.
Robert was a US Army veteran and had served during the time of the Korean War.
Family was very important to him. Robert was a kind hearted, hardworking man, who was always there to lend a hand to family and friends.
Robert was predeceased by his first wife of forty-seven years, Elizabeth A. (Ladeau) Ayers, who died in July of 2003.
Robert is survived by his wife, Shirley A. (Chase) Ayers of Holderness, his sons, Robert Ayers and his wife Janet, Brian Ayers and his wife Susan, Jeffrey Ayers, his daughters, Vicki Gray and her husband, Peanut, Lisa Ayers, stepdaughter, Katrina Durkee, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters, Laura Farrell and Ruth Ann Chauvet, also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, Abby.
