Richard Paul Mayne

Richard Paul Mayne, 52, of Stinson Lake Road, died Monday,  April 12, 2010, in Rumney.     Born in Weymouth, MA on October 9, 1957, he was the son of Paul and Marie [Gerrish] Mayne.     He grew up in Abington, MA and graduated from Abington High School.  He resided in Weymouth and had spent many years vacationing in the White Mountains.  In the late 1980's, he built the family home on Stinson Lake Road and moved here permanently sixteen years ago.       For over thirty years, he owned and operated Rich Mayne Carpet.     He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, the ocean and the mountains.      He was a devoted father and husband, and loved to spend time with his children.He was a man who took pride in his family, work and everything he did.      He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Diane C. [Williams] Mayne of Rumney, sons Richard A. Mayne, Ryan T. Mayne, both of Rumney, daughters, Maria L. Mayne of Rumney and Nicole Mayne of Cape Cod, MA, brother, Michael Mayne of Carver, MA, sisters, Paula Mayne of Las Vegas, NV, Donna Mayne of Braintree, MA, and half sister, Kelley Mayne of Cape Cod, MA, Nephews, Nieces, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.       Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation NH Chapter, 814 Elm St, Suite 300, Manchester, NH, 03101.Visitation:Calling hours will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St, Plymouth, on Sunday 12pm to 3pm.  Service:Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Cemetery:Interment will be private.
