Rene Leo Hudon, Sr., 82, formerly of Riverside Drive in Campton, died May 3, 2012 at Laconia Genesis Elder Care Center.
Born in Berlin on December 28, 1929, he was the son of Leon and Loretta [McNeil] Hudon. He grew up in Berlin and attended Berlin Schools. He moved to Charlestown, NH in 1980 and to Campton in 1998. Rene worked for the town of Berlin and then as a woodsman, logging for most all his life. He was a member of the Springfield VT. Moose Lodge. He had served in the National Guard in the 1950?s.
Rene was predeceased by his wife Edwina N. (Kilkenney) Hudon who died in 2002, his son Kevin S. Berry, and his brother, Norman Hudon.
He is survived by is sons Rene L. Hudon JR., Leon Hudon, David Hudon, daughter Rachael Pettis, all of Berlin, daughter Beverly L. White of Thornton, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters, Lorraine St. Amante and Anita Duchsne, both of Berlin, many nieces and nephews.Service:A graveside service will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Thornton, on May 18th Friday at 11am.
