R. Elaine Eghorn

R. Elaine Dreghorn, 69, of Mayhew St. died November 27, 2010, at her home, after a long illness     Born in Plymouth on May 9, 1941, she was the daughter of Clayton and Amy [Morse] Merrill.     She grew up in Plymouth and resided here most all her life.  She graduated from Plymouth High School, class of 1959, and then from Concord Commercial College.  She has been a resident of Campton for the past several years.     Elaine worked as an Office Administrator for the former Batchelder Tree Service, Plymouth, now Lucas Tree, for many years.       She was a life time member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church, and a long time member of the Emblem Club, the Rebekahs, and TOPS Club, all in Plymouth.  She always seemed to be involved in many community affairs.     Elaine is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Douglas N. Dreghorn of Campton, children, Lynn A. Dreghorn and her significant other Tim Perkins, of Rumney, Lisa A. Ames and husband Jeff of Wentworth, Brian D. Dreghorn and wife Dawn of Virginia Beach, VA, Lesley A. Salyer and husband Donald of Plymouth, nine grandchildren, Erin, Ashley, Jason, Olivia, Julie, Felicia, Nicholas, Christopher, and Kinsey Rose, brother, Lonnie Morse of Plymouth, many nieces and nephews.Memorials:In lieu of flowers; donations may be made in her memory to the Pemi-Baker Health and Hospice, 101 Boulder Point, Plymouth, 03264 Visitation:Calling hours will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St, Plymouth, on Wednesday 6pm to 8pm.  Service:A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 2:30pm.  The Rev. Margaret Bickford will officiate. Cemetery:Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.
