Priscilla U. Sleeper

Priscilla U. Sleeper, 84, formerly of Upper Mad River Road, Thornton, NH., died October 9, 2017 at The Pines of Newmarket, in Newmarket, NH.

Born in Thornton, NH., on September 24, 1933, she was the daughter of Harry and Hilma (Broad) Uhlman.

Priscilla grew up in Thornton and graduated from Plymouth High School, class of 1951. She married Donald Sleeper, who was serving in the US Army, in November of 1952. They lived in many different places including; Germany, California, Vermont, and North Carolina. Returning to Thornton, she has resided here for many years.

Priscilla was a home maker most all her life. She was always serving and helping others in her family and the community.

Priscilla was a long-time member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church of West Plymouth.

Priscilla was predeceased by her son Derrick Brant Sleeper, who died in February of 2015.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Donald C. Sleeper of Glencliff, her children, Edward D Sleeper of Plymouth, Cheryl A. Nagamatsu of Danbury, CT., Gail E. Auffant of Hampton, NH., ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery, 115 Yeaton Road, Plymouth, on Saturday, Oct. 14th, at 10am. A memorial service will follow in the Calvary Independent Baptist Church at 11am.
