Philip M Coolberth

Bristol- Philip M Coolberth; 82, passed away peacefully at Lakes Region General Hospital on June 23, 2019 with his family by his side.
Philip attended Watertown High School in MA and graduated from there in 1956. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he proudly served his country from 1956-60. He then moved to Wilmington, MA as he was a resident there from 1962-94, then, moving to his current residence in Bristol, in 1994.
Starting in the 1970's Philip was a proud member of the Wilmington Minutemen for the next 10 years. He worked for Polaroid for 30 years until his well-deserved retirement, as he then followed his beloved Boston sporting teams, mainly the Red Sox's and the Patriots.
Philip was pre-deceased by his lovely wife of 49 years, Nancy Edith (Surette) Coolberth. He is survived by son Douglas Coolberth, wife Laura, of Hill, NH and daughter Tara Lafrance, husband Stephen, of Derry, NH. Also his grandchildren, Kerry Bouvier of Bristol, NH and Devin Coolberth of Hill, NH. Great granddaughter Shawna Sky Bouvier of Bristol, NH and Philip's sister, Kathleen Betts of Wilmington, MA and Sheila Hays of Riverside, CA.
Calling hours will be Fri. June 28, 2019 from 2-4pm at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth, NH. Interment will take place Mon, 7/1 at 12:30 at The NH State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
