Peter E. Lamothe, 75, a life-long resident of Warren, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, after injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born in Warren, NH on November 23, 1936, he was the son of Roderick A. and Bernice M. (Lupien) Lamothe. Peter was raised in Warren and attended local schools.
Peter enjoyed Civil War history and often travelled throughout the country to visit historical battlefields. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Peter was dedicated to his family and cherished time spent with his children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Local 538 Carpenters Union, where he worked as a union carpenter throughout New Hampshire.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Marie D. (Thompson) Lamothe, of Warren; three daughters, Sherri Iozia and husband Robert, of Salisbury, NH. Lisa Lamothe, of Hooksett, NH, and Alana Lamothe, of Youngsville, LA; his mother, Bernice (Lupien) Lamothe, of N. Haverhill, NH; nine grandchildren, India, Brendon, Rikki, Caleb, Jessica, Nathan, Casey, Colby, and Cori; four great-grandchildren; uncle, Edward R. Lupien, Jr. and wife Judy, of Warren; aunt, Bernadette (Lupien) Hurley, of Peabody, MA; four cousins, William Hurley and wife Kim, of Essex, MA, John Hurley, also of Essex, and Joseph and Peter Hurley, both of MA; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Linden King, of Campton, NH.Service:A graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Pine Hill Cemetery, in Warren.
