Peter Kearney Kean, 79, of Meredith NH., died April 25, 2017, at his home after a battle with cancer.
Born in Manchester, NH., on January 5, 1938, he was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Kearney) Kean.
Peter grew up in Manchester and graduated from the former Bishop Bradley High School, in Manchester. He also attended the University of New Hampshire. He has been a resident of Meredith for many years.
Peter worked as a guard in Las Vegas for several years and for the former Germier Field, now Manchester Boston Regional Airport, in Manchester, on the Fire Department and the Crash Crew. He also spent fifteen years as a Deputy Sheriff for Hillsboro County.
Peter served in the US Army from 1960 to 1963.
Peter had a love for antique cars and western history.
Peter was predeceased by his sister Judith.
Peter is survived by his friends.
A Chapel service will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery, Route #3, Boscawen, NH, on Wednesday, May 10th, at 1pm.
