Pauline Merle Conkey, 64, of Reservoir Road, died Dec. 7, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, in Lebanon.
Born in Groton on March 5, 1947, she was the daughter of Frederick William and Gloria [Parris] Landon.
She grew up in Plymouth and Groton and attended Plymouth Schools. She was a resident of Dorchester most all her life.
Pauline worked at several different jobs throughout her life including business such as; the former Toby?s Motor Court, Shop and Save Supermarket, Rochester Shoe Tree, all in Plymouth and she also worked for the Town of Dorchester.
She was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Michael Landon.
Pauline is survived by her children, Cheryl A. Conkey of Grand Canyon, AZ, Craig W. Conkey of So. Walpole, MA, Allan J. Conkey of Plymouth, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters, Loretta Berryan of Woodbine, GA, Shannon Landon of Lisbon, NH, Geri Lapre of Plymouth, Valerie Landon of Bethlehem, numerous nieces and nephews, and her long time companion, Eugene D. Morton of Plymouth.Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Social Services, 261 Sheep Davis Road, Concord, NH. 03301.Service:A funeral service will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St, Plymouth, on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 1pm. The Rev. Edward J. Charest, pastor of the Plymouth United Methodist Church, will officiate.Cemetery:Interment will follow the service in the Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.
