Paulette E Theriault

Paulette Theriault, age 68, wife of Sylvio Theriault and mother to Chris, Cindy and Steve Theriault passed away at her home Friday December 7th after a 10-year fight with lung disease, the family by her side.

Paulette was born in Berlin, NH on January 23, 1950 to Paul and Lucille Cusson. She is survived by 5 siblings and pre-deceased by her brother Richard Cusson and her parents. Paulette previously resided in Berlin NH, Somersworth, NH, Lee NH and finally settled in Meredith NH. She received her Registered Nurse degree from St. Mary's Nursing School in Lewiston, ME and worked as an operating room nurse and nurse supervisor at Frisbee Memorial Hospital before moving on to Portsmouth Hospital. In 1997, Paulette left nursing and began working as a Real Estate Appraiser, which she continued until her illness took over in 2008.

Paulette was a devoted wife to Sylvio Theriault, married for 47 years. Sylvio and Paulette have three children, Christopher, Cynthia and Stephen and six grandchildren Landon, Isaac, Jacob, Caleb, Sophia and Declan. Paulette enjoyed spending time with family and playing with the grandkids. Prior to her illness, Paulette loved trying new recipes, traveling, gardening, hiking, the ocean, and chocolate.

Paulette's family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Hospice nurses at Lakes Region Visiting Nurses Association for their wonderful care and to friends and extended family for their many acts of kindness and support during her illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12th at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Meredith, NH at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home in Meredith, NH from 9-11 AM.
