Paul F. Clark passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on October 7th, 2021, at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth NH. He was born in Springfield Ma. On October 9th, 1948, to Herbert Clark and Jean McIntyre and moved to Deerfield Ma. as a child. He attended Deerfield Elementary School and Frontier Regional High School and later attended UMASS, GCC and STCC. He was proud of his commission to the Air Force Academy and served in the Air Force training to be a paratrooper.
After traveling the country, he settled back in Western Mass. where he met his wife Carole Hescock through a mutual friend (thanks, Lori). They settled in Deerfield Mass. where they had 2 daughters. He also had a son from a previous marriage.
He worked for the State of Mass. for many years before retiring early to become the owner of Scenic View Campground in Warren NH which he owned and operated for 19 years before retiring in January 2021.
He was an amazing father, husband and grandfather who enjoyed vacationing, spending time with his family, skiing at his beloved Loon Mtn. in addition to many others ski areas. He lived to ride his motorcycle and was able to ride right up until the day before he passed. He will be remembered for his big heart and smile. He was a hard worker who was always there for his family.
He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Susan. He leaves behind his wife of 39 years Carole of Warren, NH, his son Steven Boivin (Diane Kelly) of Hingham Ma., daughters Chelsie Lent (Adam) of Warren NH, Rebecca Ruff (Joseph) of Newport NH, Sister Laurel Robinson (Ted) of Hinsdale NH and his 7 grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will also be missed by his beloved cats and dogs.
A celebration of life is planned for the spring of 2022 at Scenic View Campground.
