Patricia McAdams, 79, of S. Tamworth, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Mountain View Community Nursing Home, in Ossipee, after a lengthy illness.
Born on April 27, 1933, in Laconia, NH, she was the daughter of Nathan and Gladys (Ames) Stacy. Patricia was a life-long resident of S. Tamworth graduating from local schools.
Patricia worked at the Mountain View Community (formerly Carroll Co. Nursing Home) for over 15 years as a patient caregiver. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved crocheting and was always making homemade gifts for friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, William Harvey McAdams, Sr.; two sisters, Louise Leighton, of C. Harbor, and Christabelle Eldridge, of S. Tamworth.
Patricia is survived by her loving children, Pam Morrison and husband Bob, of Reno, NV, Richard Atwood and wife Darlene, of N. Sandwich, Robin Atwood, of C. Ossipee, William H. McAdams, Jr. and fiancée Gina Lund, of S. Tamworth; sister, Myrtle Moore, of Meredith; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, and Shawn; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patricia's memory to any resident activity program at the Mountain View Community, 93 Water Village Rd., Ossipee, NH 03864.
