Norma J. Gammons

Norma J. Gammons, 89, of Englewood, FL and formerly of Nashua, NH passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023, at Bay Breeze Heath and Rehabilitation, Venice, FL after a long period of declining health.
Norma was born in Plymouth, NH on March 8, 1933, to Delphia W. and Gertrude E. Miclon and attended Plymouth area schools. Norma was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Samuel W. Gammons in July 2017, and her daughter Janet Ballman in May 2018.
Norma had the biggest heart, always there to help others from her time working in retail, nursing homes and people she met in her everyday life. She cared deeply for family and friends ensuring everything she did was to make them feel special. Norma had a passion for gardening, spending time planting and tending her flowers, covering her yard and home. She was also an avid reader.
Norma is survived by her son, Thomas Gammons and partner Denise Hutchins of Englewood, FL; son-in-law Doug Ballman of Fairborn, Ohio; grandchildren Thomas Aron and wife Amy Gammons of Lake Wales, FL, Brian and wife Alyson Gammons of Alexandria, NH, Travis and wife Miranda Ballman of Fairborn, OH and Matthew Ballman of Fairborn, OH; great grandchildren Carson, Lillybeth, Sailor, Sadiejane, Ellis, and Olivia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in her memory in the spring of 2023 at Riverside Cemetery, Fairgrounds Road, Plymouth, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a library of one's choice in Norma's name.
