Nona Grace Hobbs

Nona Grace Hobbs, 55, of Mayhew Road, died suddenly on January 18, 2014, at her home.

Born in Queens, NY, on October 15, 1958, Nona was the daughter of Ronald Stewart and the late Joyce Grace (Simpson) Campbell.

Nona grew up in Winthrop, MA. and graduated from Duxbury High School, class of 1976. She had attended the Laconia Vocational Technical School in Laconia, and had recently graduated from the NH Food Safety Course.

Nona went to work at the Tenney Mountain Seafood Center, Plymouth and then own and operated the Seafood Center for many years. For the past eight years, Nona has been volunteering at the Plymouth Area Community Food Pantry.

Nona was a member of the Plymouth Lodge of Elks #2312, in Holderness.

Nona is survived by her son, John J. Ramsey III, of Thornton, her father, Ronald of Revere, MA, brothers, Lloyd Campbell of Loyalton, CA, James J. Campbell of Thornton, sister, Cynthia Gold of Revere, MA, several nieces and nephews and her fiancé Ted B. Gauthier of Campton.

Calling hours will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St. Plymouth, on Thursday 6pm to 7:30pm. A service of remembrance will be held at 7:30pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
