Nicolas A. Downing

Nicholas Adam Downing, 26, of NH Route #3, died January 31, 2010, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital, in Lebanon, from injuries sustained in as automobile accident.      Bron in Laconia on November 28, 1983, he was the son of Robert K. and Jacqueline H. [Eastman] Downing.     He grew up in Campton and graduated from Campton Elementary School and then from Plymouth Regional High School, Plymouth.     He went to work with his father in the plumbing and heating business and recently was a plumber's apprentice and part owner of the family business, Downeast Plumbing and Heating.      In his early years, he was active in the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scout.      He is survived by his son, Spencer James Tanner Downing of Campton, daughter Lillian Rose Libbey, of Meredith, his parents, Robert K. and Jacqueline H. [Eastman] Downing of Campton, brother, Jeffrey B. Downing of Campton, Paternal Grandmother, Florence M. [McKenzie] Downing of Plymouth, grandfather, Norman Spencer of Plymouth, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nicholas A. Downing Memorial Fund, c/o Community Guarantee Savings Bank, Main St, Plymouth, NH. 03264.Visitation:Calling hours will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St, Plymouth, on Wednesday 6pm to 8pm.  Service:A funeral service will be held in the Ashland Baptist Church, Main St, Ashland, on Thursday 11am.  The Rev. Everett Palmer, pastor, will officiate.
