Naomi Fern Nolan

CONWAY --- Naomi Fern Nolan peacefully passed away in Conway, NH on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 103.

Naomi was born in Papilion, Nebraska on April 13, 1922, the daughter of Emile and Martha Schauland. She was predeceased by Robert Martin, the father of her children; her six siblings; Thomas Nolan, whom she married in 1987 and was immediately welcomed and loved by his three daughters and their families.

Naomi is survived by her three children, Babs Martin and her husband Tom, Peggy DiPace and her husband Bob, and Rob Martin and his wife Sherry; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Naomi was a caring mother, wife and friend, involved in her church, singing in the choir and supporting others. She led a very active life golfing, swimming, skiing, and traveling. She loved all crafts with sewing/quilting being her passion.

Although her family and their wellbeing were always her first concern, she found time to continue her education taking many college level classes and pursuing a degree in Interior Decorating.

Never idle, Naomi enjoyed all aspects of life. Her enthusiasm for all that she did made her such a joy to be around. Somehow, she managed to extend her years on earth many years beyond that of most people, living to be 103 and 8 months,

Naomi was a blessing to all who knew her and will be greatly missed, but now she rejoices in the presence of the Lord.

The family will hold a private service to celebrate Naomi’s life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a fund in care of Mineral Springs Skilled Care and Rehabilitation for a room to be created in Naomi’s memory.
