Nancy Jane Mckenzie

Nancy J McKenzie, born May 3, 1938, in Plymouth NH to Percy and Eldena Bolton. Nancy grew up in the mill town of Beebe River. She went to school in Beebe River and Plymouth, NH. She married her high school sweetheart, Denny McKenzie on March 18, 1957. Nancy worked at Plymouth State College, then had a career in banking at Pemigewasset National Bank in Plymouth and Campton NH. Nancy and Denny enjoyed camping and being with family.
Nancy loved dogs, all dogs, but especially her grand dogs Luna, Duncan and Lyla. She always had a container of dog biscuits beside her chair, so she was always prepared when her dogs came through the door and ran towards her.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Denny of 66 years, her children Brenda McKenzie (Robert), Brian McKenzie (Cindy) and Bruce McKenzie (Mary Lou). Nancy had two grandchildren. Dustin McKenzie and Barbara McKenzie. She had a niece and nephew Karen Peets and David Peets.
The family wishes to thank all the wonderful caregivers who helped and supported Nancy and her family as she dealt with her illness. Everyone from Pemi-Baker Home Health and Hospice were wonderful. We are thankful for all the nurses and other employees who came to the house. We are especially thankful for Fred who spent a great deal of her Thanksgiving weekend with us, making sure we were all OK and to answer all our questions. We also are thankful for Karen who came every week to visit and play games with mom so that dad could go grocery shopping.
Nancy will be loved and missed forever by her family.
