Nancy June LaFrance, 70, of Waukewan St. died May 8, 2010, at the Concord Hospice House, Concord, NH. Born in Center Harbor on March 30, 1940, she was the daughter of Ernest Peter and Lillian M. [Theriault] White. She grew up in Center Harbor and graduated from Center Harbor School House on Route #25B. She also was a 1958 graduate of Laconia High School, Laconia. She has been a resident of Meredith since 1960. In her early years, she worked at the former Amatex Mill and for twenty six years, at home as a stitcher for Annalee Dolls, Inc, both in Meredith. She was an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Meredith, and had served on many committees. She was a member of the Ashland Rebecca Lodge #67, Ashland and over the years had held each of the offices on the local and state level. She was involved with many different organizations in the Meredith area including; a past member of the Inter-lakes Booster Club and a past Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed crafts especially decorative painting, rug hooking, and she loved to spend time in her garden. She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Joseph L. LaFrance of Meredith, sons, Dexter Weare Jr of Melbourne, FL, Timothy Weare of Ashland, daughters, Teresa Wyman of Wolfeboro, Kara LaFrance of Meredith, five grandchildren, brothers, Robert White of Winnisquam, Thomas White of Manchester, sister, Elizabeth Abernethy of Columbia, SC, and two nephews.Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ashland Rebecca Lodge #67, Inter-lakes Scholarship Fund, C/O Teresa Wyman, 421 N. Main St, Wolfeboro, NH. 03894. Service:A Memorial Service will be held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, NH Route #25, Meredith, on Thursday at 11am. The Rev.
