Muriel J. Kass

Muriel J. Kass, 92, of Plymouth, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 after a period of declining health.Born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 5, 1917, she was the daughter of Sidney and Ada (Cohen) Millsten. Marjorie was raised in Brooklyn and attended Brooklyn Schools.Muriel relocated to Plymouth, NH in 1993, she was an active member of the Plymouth Regional Senior Center where she took on the role of Treasurer, and she retired from that position in 2007. Muriel was also an active member of the Senior Center Advisory Council.She was predeceased by her beloved husband Morris L. Kass, in 1988.Muriel is survived by two sons, Martin Kass and his wife Laurie, of Holderness, Howard Kass and his wife Diana, of Syracuse, NY; a daughter, Barbara Nugent and her husband David, of Seattle, WA; and six grandchildren, Michelle, Dana, Heather, Stephanie, Matthew, and Sara.Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie's memory to the Plymouth Senior Center, 8 Depot St., Plymouth, NH 03264, or to a charity of one's choice.Cemetery:Interment will be private.
