Michael Lee Kinney, 53, of Ashland, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends on Monday, December 15, 2014.
Born on February 5, 1961, in Binghamton, NY, he was the son of Glen L. and Delores (Curry) Kinney. Michael was raised in Queensbury, NY, and attended local schools there.
Michael was an avid fisher, and enjoyed camping and all manners of outdoor activities with his family; he also loved to ride motorcycles. He had a great sense of humor, an uncanny dry wit and he liked to pull a prank or two every now and then. Michael will be remembered by his family as a devoted husband and a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, and his grandson, Tristan Dinger, in 2007.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Judy (Chase) Kinney, of Ashland; son, Sean Kinney and his wife Tasha, of Campton; daughter, Danielle Kinney and her significant other Brian Reed, of Bristol; five grandchildren, Colin, Evan, McCay, Serenity, Liam, and another grandchild expected in May, 2015; his sister, Michelle Taylor, of Georgia; Michael is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins, and many friends throughout the area.
