Mary Ellen Tolman, 61, of Plymouth, passed away at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
Born on September 7, 1952 in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Barbara (Dixson) Mortensen. Mary was raised in Berwick, ME and attended local schools, graduating from the Berwick High School.
Mary was a loving homemaker who cherished time spent with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed my many.
She is predeceased by her parents, and her brother David Mortensen.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 18 years, Frank W. Tolman, of Plymouth; three children, Christopher Bridges, of Laconia, Edith Dame and husband Alan, of Laconia, and Laura Bridges and significant other Michael Bergeron, of Belmont; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Cole, Nyla, Mya, Gaberiel, Catherine, and Alexandra; five brothers, Michael, Jeff, Kevin, Keith, and Chris; two sisters, Linda Skoolicas, and Polly Porter; many nieces and nephews.
