Mary C. McNeil, 85, of Meredith, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on September 20, 2023, after a brief illness.
Mary was born in Cohasset Massachusetts to Charles and Rita McNeil. After a successful career, Mary retired from Verizon in 1990 and moved to the Lakes Region. Mary had a loving and gentle nature believing in the question…were you kind today? She always expressed an interest in all those she met.
Mary is survived by her friend of more than 50 years, Maureen Cassidy of Meredith, Sisters, Rita Youngclaus of Bridgewater, MA, Janet Warren and Jeanne Maxon of Hanson, MA. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Charles of Cohasset, MA, Thomas of Fort Meyers Beach, FL and Kevin of Fairhaven, MA.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday September 28th, 10am, St. Charles Borromeo, Meredith. Burial will be at later date. In Lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Lakes Region VNA, 186 Waukewan Street, Meredith, NH. 03253
