Martha Anne Howard Jollimore, 77, of Meredith, died September 21, 2009, after a brief illness at the Mandrin Hospice House, in Harwood, MD, surrounded by her family. Anne was born April 15, 1932, in Germantown, Pennsylvania, to the late Martha Lindo Howard and James Howard. She was the oldest of six children and the only girl. She attended Red Bank High School in Red Bank, New Jersey, and graduated in 1949. She met Ken Jollimore in 1959, while performing in the Framingham Young Women's Club Follies, and they were married January 9, 1960. Anne began a career as a Legal Secretary, and throughout the years worked in the real estate field attaining her Brokers license in NH. She was the proprietor of NH Title Abstract Company prior to accepting a position at Hunter and Garner in 1980 where she worked as a Paralegal until her retirement. She was a Justice of the Peace and performed marriage ceremonies for some friends and family. Throughout her life, Anne was active in public service and community oriented organizations. She served on the State Board of Education for the State of NH, and always took an active role in her children's education. She enjoyed genealogy and is the current Parliamentarian and past State Regent for New Hampshire State Daughters of the American Revolution. She also served as the President of the Meredith Historical Society. Anne was a member of the Planning Board in the town of Meredith and served the town at most elections as an Electoral Judge, and in other capacities. You would often find Anne at the POW/MIA Memorial at the Town Dock Flag Vigils. For the majority of her married life, Anne resided in the State of NH with her family. They did move to California for two years where she enjoyed participating in church activities and going to the beach on weekends. In NH Anne loved to be on the lake and enjoyed sailing with her husband and playing in the water with her grandchildren. She sewed many Halloween costumes over the years and blankets for the family anytime there was a new arrival. She also sewed all the cheerleading uniforms for Interlakes Junior High Squad in 1980. Anne cherished the time spent with family and had an infectious laugh that made everyone happy. She was predeceased in death by an infant son in 1963; her parents, James and Martha (Lindo) Howard; three brothers, James Howard, Peter Bacigalupo, and Patrick Howard.She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jollimore, of Meredith; three children, daughter Hillary Jollimore and son-in-law Timothy Seeger, of Tampa, FL, son, Kenneth Jr., of Hudson, FL, daughter, Kristen Sapienza and son-in-law Augustine Sapienza, of Pasadena, MD; ten grandchildren, Alexis Anne Pierson, Matthew Allan Bean, Collyn Whitney Seeger, Victoria Anne, Elisabeth Alexis, and Davis Harry Jollimore; Monica, Phillip, Maria, and Emily Mary Sapienza; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Bacigalupo and Rex Howard; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation:Calling hours will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home, Rtes. 3 and 104 in Meredith, on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 5 thru 8 pm.Service:A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009, at the Meredith Congregational Church at 2:00pm. The Rev. Russell Rowland, pastor, will officiate. Cemetery:Interment will follow the service at the Meredith Village Cemetery.
