Marlene Joyce
Pulsifer
April 9, 1953 – April 29, 2026
CAMPTON --- Marlene Joyce (Skjervem) Pulsifer, 73, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at her home in Campton, NH.
Marlene was born in Bottineau, ND, on April 9, 1953, to the late Marvin and Joyce (Gillies) Skjervem, and graduated from Bottineau High School, class of 1971.
Marlene married James R. Pulsifer August 26, 1972. Together they had three children, Scott Mahon (St. Paul, MN), Charissa Pulsifer (Goffstown, NH) and Jason Pulsifer (Campton NH, predeceased).
Marlene and Jim raised their children all over the world based on Jim's Air Force and Army service, through the Pulsifer family farm. Marlene took great joy in raising her children, various crafting activities and especially quilting. She has many great friends that she has made and enjoyed spending time with based on that love of quilting.
Marlene leaves behind her son, Scott Mahon and wife Rachel and granddaughter Fia of St. Paul, MN; daughter, Charissa Pulsifer and grandson Cameron of Goffstown, NH; granddaughters, Mariska Pulsifer of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Emily Pulsifer of FL; siblings, Judy Downes of Minot, ND, Janice (Tom) Hanson of Surrey, ND, and Michael Skjervem of Minot, ND; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in various locations across the country. In addition to her parents and her son, Marlene was predeceased by her sisters, Karen (Skjervem) Hoffman and Kathryn (Skjervem) Ellingson, and husband, James, just 5 days prior on April 24, 2026.
We will all miss her loving ways, her quirky humor and the constant need to pick at and poke lovingly at those near her because she couldn't stop herself. She will be missed by her family and many friends greatly.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Quality Care Home Health & Hospice.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be planned in the near future.
